Hoot's favorite way to use Hoot's Articulated Egg Sucker is just like any other streamer; cast it out and experiment with the retrieve, make it look alive with stops and goes, make it look like it's running in fear with a quick retrieve or make it look like it's feeding with jerks to the left and to the right. You can also swing it like a wet fly or dead drift underneath it and indicator. Using Hoots Articulated Egg Sucker as a streamer you will need a 9ft 6-7 weight Devin's Custom Rod, Hoot's Furled Leader 3ft w/barrel swivel and 1 1/2ft of 8 to 20lbs test depending on the size of the fish you are going after. If you're swinging it or dead drifting it 9ft 6-7 weight Devin's Custom Rod, Hoot's Furled Leader 3ft or 5ft w/barrel swivel or tippit ring and for tippit 6X all the way to 4x. Dead drifting you will need an indicator.
